Fall Festival 2019
What a fun night at our annual AHS Fall Festival. Thank you again room 9 families, for your generous apple and monetary donations to support our caramel apple sales!
A huge thanks to our parent volunteers, Jason Hew (Kamryn), Jon Mizushima (Alyssa), and Mike Terry (Lily) who worked in the booth along with parents from rooms 7, 16 and 20! Lily was also a big help taking the empty trays back to the room! Thank you also to Vernon's family for letting us borrow their tent (thanks Dan for coming to help break it down too), and to Miss Ishihara, Mrs. Galucci Mr. AJ and Mr. Kamaka from Parks and Rec., Mrs. Tom, my mother-in-law, and my niece for their help cutting and making the caramel apples alongside the third grade teachers! I was glad to see many of our students come by! Thank you to the families who came to buy caramel apples too. I think Ruby had at least five! The line was steady all night from 5:00 and we made about 1100 caramel apples, with a rush after the movie for those who were using up their extra tickets! People come annually for this yummy treat!
Phew, one big event down and now we can focus on the upcoming Grandparents Tea!
